As an HVAC Technician, you will take responsibility for the electrical and mechanical maintenance of building services, plant, and associated equipment. Your work will help ensure a safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient environment for our client.
You will play a vital role in maintaining HVAC systems — with particular expertise in VRV/VRF systems — driving energy performance improvements, and upholding the highest health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across HVAC plant and building services
- Diagnose faults and maintain a broad range of HVAC systems, including VRV/VRF air conditioning units
- Monitor and control environmental conditions via BMS systems
- Identify and mitigate risks to plant and equipment, including management of critical spare parts
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of preventative maintenance programmes
- Maintaining Chillers
- Prepare and adhere to Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and Permits to Work
- Utilise CAFM systems and mobile technology to manage and record maintenance activities
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance
- Collaborate with onsite teams to resolve building services issues effectively
- Recognised or time-served apprenticeship
- Demonstrable experience in HVAC maintenance
- Strong mechanical expertise (City & Guilds or equivalent qualification)
- Valid F-Gas certification with refrigerant handling experience
- Multi-skilled maintenance capability
- Confident and methodical fault-finding skills
- Experience preparing and implementing RAMS and safe systems of work
- Proven ability to supervise contractors effectively
- £47,000 per annum
- Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
