Brand new opportunity to start your 2026 working for an established company as an Installation Electrician on a permanent basis. You will be working in the Canary Wharf area for our client who are able to offer private health & dental care.

Job Duties

  • Identify and diagnose faults, carrying out repairs, adjustments, and other maintenance activities as required.
  • Perform routine servicing, repairs, and adjustments to plant and machinery in line with the planned maintenance schedule, as directed by the Building Control Co-ordinator.
  • Adopt a flexible, multi-skilled approach to ensure tasks are completed in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Undertake additional skilled tasks where competence has been demonstrated.
  • Monitor plant and equipment as instructed and record all relevant data using the provided documentation.
  • Ensure the highest possible standards of plant and equipment performance by completing all tasks in accordance with established requirements and instructions.
  • Maintain clean and tidy working areas, ensuring all refuse and waste materials are removed appropriately.
  • Remain fully familiar with and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety policies and procedures, immediately reporting any hazards or non-compliance to the Building Services Manager or Engineering Supervisor.
  • Complete time and task sheets daily in accordance with agreed procedures.

Key Requirements

  • You must have been electrically qualified with a minimum of City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 or NVQ Level 3 (Or equivalent). Also having the 18th Edition.
  • Candidates should have previous experience working within a modern building services maintenance environment and be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of HVAC and general building services.
  • Experience of working outside and doing electrical installations.
