Electrical Engineer Canary Wharf, East London £50,000 – £52,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer looking to progress their career with a leading FM service provider on a prestigious commercial contract based in Canary Wharf, East London. Working for a highly reputable maintenance provider, you will become a key member of the on-site engineering team, taking responsibility for both planned and reactive maintenance across a high-profile commercial building while working alongside mechanical and fabric engineers. This role is ideal for an electrically qualified engineer who is looking to further develop their technical skillset and progress within the building services industry. Duties Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance Working on: Single & Three Phase Power Motors & Generators UPS Systems LV/HV Switching Emergency Lighting Fire Alarm Testing AHUs, FCUs & VAVs CRAC Units Pumps, Belts, Bearings & Seals Sprinkler Systems BMS Operation Carrying out plant and system isolations in line with safety procedures Ensuring corrective and remedial works are completed in accordance with regulations Following and promoting safe systems of work and industry best practices Managing subcontractors when required Completing RAMS, logbooks, and permits to work Producing reports and updating site documentation Liaising with client representatives regarding repair and maintenance works Raising and closing jobs via PDA systems Requirements City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installations Experience within Building Services Maintenance Strong client-facing and communication skills Motivated and career-driven attitude Professional, reliable, and personable approach Experience working within commercial environments Salary & Benefits £50,000 – £52,000 per annum Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Company Pension Scheme Ongoing Training & Development Excellent Career Progression Opportunities Stable, long-term contract within a prestigious commercial environment
