We are looking for a Commercial Plumber to join our client's maintenance team on a high-end commercial contract based in Reading. You'll be joining a tight-knit, well-experienced team, be provided additional training, be valued and receive valuable career experience.
For the role of Commercial Plumber, you will carry out PPM and Reactive maintenance within the property, liaise with subcontractors, actively fault find and troubleshoot and carry out any general building services.
The successful Commercial Plumber will be qualified in Heating and Plumbing (Level 2 minimum - C&G / EAL / NVQ or equivalent), have at least 3 years experience as a plumber and have a client-facing attitude.
Commercial Plumber Duties:
- PPM and Reactive Maintenance
- Plumbing duties - Taps, Valves, Toilets, Pipes and Leaks
- Water Treatment - Legionella awareness, chemical dosing, TMVs, Dead leg removal, Flushing, Cooling towers and tap temperatures
- MHVR/FCU systems
- Heat interface unit (HIU) maintenance
- Underfloor heating maintenance
- Boiler maintenance
- General maintenance duties
Commercial Plumber Requirements:
- City and Guilds Level 2 in Heating and Ventilation / NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent qualifications
- Prior experience in building service maintenance in a commercial environment (3 years minimum)
- Very client facing
- Driven and self-motivated
Salary and Package:
- £40,000 per annum
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
- 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays
- Overtime on site
- Additional training
