Are you an experienced maintenance engineer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join a privately owned maintenance provider, working on a commercial property. This role offers the chance for internal progression and career development, providing a fantastic opportunity to grow and advance within the company. This is a static role working a four on four off shift 7am - 7pm.
As a maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical or mechanical systems within the property. You will need to have a strong technical background and the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role and possess relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Duties:
- PPM and Reactive Maintenance
- Electrical Fault-Finding, Single & Three Phase Power, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms, BMS Operation, AHUs, FCUs, Generators, VAV/VRFs, Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc.), Cooling Towers, Pumps & Motors
- Site Folders, E-logbooks, Managing Contractors, Audits, Quotations
- Communicate with the client
Requirements:
- City and Guilds / NVQ (Or equivalent) in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Apprentice trained (Desirable)
- Building service maintenance experience
