My client is looking for an experienced Technical Maintenance Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of facilities management services across a large, high-profile site.
This is a senior position, acting as a key point of contact for the client while leading a team of up to 30 people and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the technical maintenance and facilities management operation on site.
- Act as the main point of contact for the client and key stakeholders.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, supervisors and operational staff.
- Ensure all contractual obligations, SLAs and KPIs are consistently met.
- Oversee the delivery of hard and soft facilities management services.
- Monitor maintenance performance and ensure all planned and reactive works are completed effectively.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring safe systems of work are followed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.
- Work closely with the client to identify issues, provide solutions and drive continuous improvement.
- Produce performance reports and support regular client reviews.
- Manage budgets, costs and resources to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency without compromising quality.
- Support the development, training and performance of the site team.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
The Candidate
- Previous experience in a Technical Maintenance management role.
- Strong technical/hard services background.
- Experience managing engineers, supervisors and wider operational teams.
- Strong understanding of building services and maintenance.
- Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety and safe systems of work.
- Experience working to SLAs, KPIs and contractual requirements.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial awareness, including budget and cost management.
- Excellent communication and people-management skills.
- IOSH is desirable but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Must be able to obtain the required security clearance.
Package
- £55,000 - £60,000
- Car Allowance - Circa £8000 Per annum
- 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays
- Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
- Pension Package
- Long term contract
