We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join a leading building services provider on a prestigious flagship site in Chelsea as an Electrical Shift Engineer. As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimising all electrical plant and equipment across the site. You’ll carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, ensuring systems run safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with current regulations. You’ll be working on a continental shift pattern (days and nights), offering variety and excellent earning potential through overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver PPM and reactive maintenance across all electrical systems
  • Work on single and three-phase systems, motors, pumps, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and BMS controls
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently and safely
  • Carry out isolation's and ensure safe working practices at all times
  • Complete RAMS, logbooks, and maintenance records accurately
  • Use a PDA system for job management and reporting
  • Maintain strong client relationships through professional and proactive service delivery

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Electrical Engineer (City & Guilds, NVQ, EAL or equivalent)
  • Up to date with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within commercial building services
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and building infrastructure
  • Confident, client-facing, and a strong team player
