A leading facilities management provider is looking for an experienced AC & Refrigeration Engineer to join their mobile engineering team based around the Sunderland area. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with great hours and excellent earning potential.

The Role

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on AC and refrigeration systems
• Fault find, repair and install equipment including compressors, chillers and controls
• Complete preventative maintenance inspections and corrective work
• Support general building services tasks (HVAC, mechanical, fabric)
• Work to strict Health & Safety procedures and site standards

What We\’re Looking For

• Solid experience in AC/refrigeration or HVAC maintenance
• Strong background in PPM, reactive and technical fault finding
• Experience working on commercial sites
• Competent following RAMS and H&S procedures

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2079 (F-Gas) or CITB J11 equivalent
• Plus one of the following:
  
  • NVQ/C&G level 2/3 in Commercial Refrigeration & AC
  • NVQ/C&G in Heating & Ventilation
  • NVQ/C&G in Heating & Ventilation Service & Maintenance

• £40,000 – £44,000 basic
