We've got a great role for an Electrical Engineer to join our client's team based on a great site in Reading! You'll be joining a market leading building service provider, be provided all the relevant training, receive the opportunities to progress internally and succeed further!

As an Electrical Engineer, you will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, actively trouble shoot / fault find, respond to emergencies, update site logbooks and liaise with contractors.

Electrical Engineer Duties:
  • Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance in commercial properties
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults quickly and effectively
  • Conducting inspections, testing, and compliance checks
  • Emergency lighting testing and remedial
  • Working on motors, pumps, AHUs, FCUs, and three-phase power systems
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service on-site
  • Collaborating with clients and colleagues to ensure excellent service delivery
Electrical Engineer Requirements:
  • Fully qualified in electrical engineering (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Previous experience working on plant systems in commercial buildings
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
  • Good fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently
Salary and Package:
  • £45,000 per annum
  • Monday - Friday, 8 - 5
  • Company pension scheme
  • 25 days annual leave +
