My client, a leading facilities management provider, is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join their growing team covering South West London and Surrey.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Carpenter or Joiner to work across a varied portfolio of commercial sites, carrying out maintenance, repairs and installations, with a particular focus on fire doors.
The Role Covering multiple commercial sites across South West London and Surrey Carrying out general carpentry, maintenance and fire door remedial works Using a digital system to record inspections and completed works Key Responsibilities Carrying out fire door inspections, maintenance and remedial repairs Replacing fire doors, door sets and associated components Installing and replacing door seals, ironmongery and signage Completing minor carpentry, joinery, painting and finishing works Supporting fire door installations and planned preventative maintenance Identifying defects and providing accurate remedial quotations Completing compliance paperwork and inspection records Following health and safety procedures, including RAMS and COSHH Working independently across multiple client sites About You Previous experience in carpentry or joinery Experience with fire doors, door sets or fire door remedial works Good understanding of fire door safety and compliance requirements Able to work independently and manage a varied workload Strong communication and organisational skills Full UK driving licence Qualifications NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Carpentry / Joinery preferred What's on Offer £38,000 - £40,000 salary Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Company van and fuel card provided Plenty of overtime available Stable, long-term opportunity Training and development, including support with BM TRADA-related accreditation If you're an experienced Carpenter or Joiner looking for a stable role with excellent earning potential, regular hours and opportunities to develop your fire door expertise, apply today.
