We're seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider, supporting a major transport contract across the North East region. This is a mobile role covering a range of sites including offices, depots, stations, and sidings. You'll be responsible for both planned and reactive electrical maintenance, ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites
- Complete Fixed Wire Testing and associated remedial works
- Maintain accurate documentation and records via the CAFM system
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
- Provide regular updates on job progress to clients and colleagues
- Support wider team activities, including risk assessments and inspections when required
- Contribute to a positive and professional working environment
About You
You'll be a reliable, self-motivated engineer with a strong background in electrical maintenance and testing, comfortable managing your own workload and working independently.
Essential
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable (training can be provided)
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection
- IPAF / PASMA
- Personal Track Safety (PTS)
