£44,000 – £46,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established, privately owned building maintenance provider. This company has a strong reputation for investing in its engineers through continuous training and development, enabling them to confidently handle a wide variety of mechanical tasks.

This role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across multiple commercial sites located around the M25.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Carry out PPM and reactive mechanical maintenance.
  • Work on motors, generators (on/off load testing), shutdowns, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, sprinkler systems, pumps, belts, bearings, seals, and water treatment systems.
  • Operate and have an understanding of BMS systems.
  • Safely isolate plant and equipment in line with site and statutory safety procedures.
  • Ensure all corrective and repair works comply with current regulations and standards.
  • Promote safe working practices and high-quality workmanship.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors where required.
  • Complete logbooks, RAMS, reports, and permits to work.
  • Raise and close jobs using PDA systems.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years\’ experience within commercial building maintenance.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional, client-facing approach.
  • Apprentice-trained background (desirable).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Salary & Benefits:

  • £44,000 – £46,000 per annum
  • Company van and fuel card.
  • Tools and uniform provided.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
