This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider on one of their high-profile contracts in Tooting. The mechanically qualified engineer will be working Monday to Friday split shift as part of a large maintenance team undertaking planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works, and emergency response on site. The company is a well-established maintenance provider that actively supports career progression through training and development opportunities. This is a great chance to work on a prestigious higher education contract, which is a flagship site for the business.
Duties:
- PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) & reactive maintenance
- AHUs
- FCUs
- Pumps β bearings, mechanical seals
- Water treatment (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc.)
- Cooling towers
- Tap temperatures
- Chilled water systems
- Plumbing
- Generators
- Pressurisation units
- BMS operation
- CRAC units
- Motors
Requirements:
- Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 or NVQ (or equivalent)
- Apprentice trained β desirable
- Building services maintenance experience
- Very client-facing
Package:
- Β£45,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, Split shift 7am - 4pm, 10am - 7pm
- 25 days holiday
- Pension package
