An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a privately owned, highly respected building services provider on a prestigious commercial site based at London Bridge. Renowned for their strong reputation and exceptional staff retention, this organisation offers a supportive working environment with structured training and clear progression opportunities, including Authorised Person (AP) status training.

Working as part of a continental shift pattern covering days and nights, the successful engineer will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems within a landlord environment. This role suits a confident engineer who is comfortable working autonomously, maintaining compliance, and liaising directly with clients and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
  • Electrical fault finding
  • Single & three-phase power
  • Emergency lighting systems
  • Fire alarm testing
  • BMS operation and monitoring
  • AHUs, FCUs, VAV/VRF systems
  • Generators
  • Pumps and motors
  • Cooling towers and water treatment (tap tests, dosing, checks)
  • Managing site logbooks, e-logbooks, audits, quotations
  • Supervising contractors and ensuring compliance
Requirements
  • City & Guilds qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Apprenticeship trained (desirable)
  • Proven experience in building services maintenance
  • Strong client-facing skills
  • Ability to work on a continental shift pattern (days & nights)
