An excellent opportunity for a Technical Contract Manager to join a leading company in the facilities maintenance sector looking after multiple contracts including two in central London and one in Surrey. Working on a flagship contract, this is a great chance to work for a highly reputable building services provider who offer all the avenues for career development and progression within the business.

Coming from a Technical M&E background, the Technical Contract Manager will be responsible for the overall day to day running of a critical environment delivering a Landlord and Tenant planned and reactive maintenance contract, with a team of 8 Engineers, a Supervisor and Contract Support.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Reporting directly to the Business Unit Director
  • Full responsibility for P&L performance
  • Managing KPIs and SLAs across the contract
  • Providing technical support to both the client and the engineering team
  • Ensuring all company quality procedures are implemented and adhered to
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Attending client meetings and managing daily client requirements
  • Overseeing additional project works and variations
  • Leading recruitment processes and managing staffing levels
  • Developing and appraising staff, including career development plans
  • Handling absenteeism and managing disciplinary procedures
  • Producing reports as required
  • Identifying and securing additional business opportunities
  • Managing the permit-to-work system
  • Overseeing all health, safety, and environmental performance on the contract
Requirements:
  • Technically qualified - Apprenticeship / City & Guilds qualifications in Electrical Installations / Mechanical Engineering / Air Conditioning / HVAC
  • Experience in managing contracts / engineering maintenance teams in a financial, data centre or critical environment
  • Personable with good people skills, with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.

Salary & Benefits:
