A leading building services provider is looking for an AC Engineer to join their maintenance team on a mobile basis looking after commercial buildings from East Midlands to West Yorkshire.
Working as an AC engineer you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of the landlord plant, ensuring the site's HVAC and mechanical systems operate efficiently.
The role:
- To deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance in line with the contract service delivery plan for Commercial HVAC equipment
- Carry out A/C works including minor projects & refurbishment
- Fault find, investigate, troubleshoot and rectify defects in all A/C units & systems and any associated plant/components
- Single/Multi splits, VAVs, VRVs, VRFs, Close Control, DX Units, CRAC units
- Replacing compressors, condensers, regassing, brazing, soldering etc.
- Dealing with subcontractors where necessary
- Ensure all statutory documentation is completed and kept up to date at all times
Requirements:
- 1 year of Air conditioning experience
- City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification
- Driving License
- Building Services Maintenance experience
- Career driven and motivated
