Electrical Maintenance Engineer Edinburgh Β£40,000 - Β£43,500 My client is looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established engineering team working across a specialist electronics manufacturing site in Edinburgh. The role will have a strong electrical focus, alongside some HVAC, fabric maintenance and small power installation works within your skillset. You will work across two buildings, including offices, manufacturing areas and clean rooms, as part of a supportive and experienced team. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site. Complete routine inspections and maintenance checks. Carry out emergency lighting testing, including weekend works. Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently. Undertake small power installations where suitably qualified and competent. Assist with HVAC and fabric maintenance as required. Work across manufacturing areas, offices and clean room environments. Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and to the required standards. Respond to reactive maintenance and emergency call-outs when required. Work closely with the Shift Lead and wider engineering team. Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance and any faults identified. Support the wider site team and contribute to maintaining a high standard of service delivery. The Candidate Electrical maintenance background. SVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification. 18th Edition. Good understanding of electrical systems and building services. Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance. Comfortable working across a mixture of manufacturing, office and specialist environments. HVAC and fabric maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.
