Fabric Engineer
Weybridge, Surrey
Β£32,000 – Β£34,500
We\’re looking for a skilled and proactive Fabric Engineer to join a busy and supportive maintenance team based at a large, high-profile site in Weybridge.
You\’ll be carrying out a mix of planned and reactive works, ensuring the buildings are kept to the highest standards. The role covers a variety of hands-on tasks, with a particular focus on carpentry skills, but also spanning wider fabric maintenance duties.
Responsibilities

  • Carrying out PPM and reactive fabric works across the site
  • Carpentry and joinery tasks – doors, locks, frames, shelving, and general woodwork
  • Basic plumbing repairs – taps, toilets, sinks, pipework
  • Painting and decorating – touch-ups and small projects
  • Tiling, plastering, and patch repairs as required
  • Ceiling, flooring, and partition repairs
  • Fitting signage, fixtures, and fittings
  • Supporting with general building maintenance and repairs to keep facilities in excellent condition
  • Following all health & safety procedures
  • Recording work accurately on PDA devices and maintaining service standards
  • Liaising with the client and working closely with the wider facilities team to deliver a first-class service

What We\’re Looking For

  • Strong background in building/fabric maintenance
  • Good carpentry/joinery skills (highly desirable)
  • Additional skills across plumbing, painting, tiling, plastering, and general fabric works
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Fire door experience/licence beneficial (training can be provided)
  • IPAF/PASMA certification desirable (training available)

Package

  • Salary up to Β£34,500
  • Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM working hours – no shifts!
  • 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
