Brilliant role for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a state of the art commercial property in East London! You will be joining a longstanding company, well renowned for their staff retention, brilliant sites, career development and stand out package! This is a static role, following a continental shift pattern (Day shift only).
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, actively fault find, liaise with subcontractors, respond to client needs, ensure all site log books are regularly updated and carry out general building maintenance.
The successful candidate for this role will have qualifications in Electrical Installations / Engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent), have at least 5 years experience in commercial maintenance and respond positively with the client on site.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Duties:- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
- Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
- Fully qualified in Electrical Installations / Engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent)
- At least 5 years experience in commercial maintenance
- Great communication skills
- Great attitude
- Apprentice trained would be desirable
