We have a unique position for an Electrical Engineer to join our client's in-house maintenance team, on a great, state of the art property based in Canary Wharf. This is a client direct role, where you'll receive a generous package, including a pension scheme of up to 15%, private health and dental care, training and other benefits! This is a static role, following a fixed schedule of Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned preventive and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems on site, regularly troubleshoot and fault find in landlord areas, logbooks updates and ensure all compliance is adhered to.
The successful candidate in this role must be fully qualified in Electrical Installations / Engineering (C&G, EAL, NVQ or equivalent), have at least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance, live within commutable distance to site and communicate well.
Electrical Engineer Duties:- PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
- Electrical Fault-Finding
- Single & Three Phase Power
- Emergency Lighting
- Fire Alarms
- BMS Operation
- AHUs
- FCUs
- Generators
- VAV/VRFs
- Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc.)
- Cooling Towers
- Pumps & Motors
- Site Folders, E-logbooks, Managing Contractors, Audits, Quotations
- Fully qualified in Electrical Installations / Engineering (C&G, EAL, NVQ or equivalent)
- At least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance
- Live within commutable distance to site
- Great communication skills
- Apprentice trained - Desirable, not essential
- £46,000 per annum
