We have a brilliant opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to work on a critical site based in Croydon, offering the opportunity to work in a data centre, receive high voltage training and to offer additional internal opportunities.
You will be working a continental shift pattern (Days and nights).
As an Electrical Engineer, you will ensure all PPM and reactive maintenance primarily on electrical systems, participate with site shutdowns / HV switching, ensure all critical plant is working efficiently, update site logbooks, actively fault find / troubleshoot and ensure the client is satisfied with the service provided.
Electrical Engineer Duties:- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
- Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
- Organising subcontractors
- Completing logbooks and RAMS Reports
- Permits to work
- Raise and close jobs on PDAs as necessary.
- City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or higher in Electrical installations / Engineering
- Electrical regulations
- 5 years experience within building services
- Experience within critical environments / critical equipment
- Great M&E equipment knowledge
- £55,000 - £58,000 per annum
- High voltage training provided
- Continental shift pattern (Day or night shift)
- Parking on site
- 20 days annual leave
