A fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join a large and renowned building services provider working on a mobile basis across London and surrounding areas. With an impressive business plan and growth rate, this role is a result of contract awards offering a great chance to work for a leading player in the market where the possibilities of training and career progression are endless.
The Commercial Gas / Heating Engineer will be working on commercial sites such as offices, retail stores, banks, data centres etc, as well as some high-end residential properties, carrying out fault finding, diagnostics, service and repairs of commercial boilers / combustion systems and appliances.
The commercial gas engineer MUST hold in date ACS commercial and domestic gas qualifications.
Duties:- To deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance in line with the contract service delivery plan for Commercial Boilers
- Fault Find, investigate, troubleshoot and rectify defects in boilers / burners, water heaters and any other associated plant / components
- Dealing with subcontractors where necessary
- Ensure all statutory documentation is completed and kept up to date at all times
- ACS Commercial Gas qualifications COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA, CORT1, TPCP1, ICPN
- Experience in either service and repair of commercial gas boilers / heating systems
- A strong proven engineering background within the combustion / boiler industry maintenance
- Field based service engineer experience
- Working to health and safety requirements
- Previous experience with a range of boiler and burner manufacturers
- Knowledge of steam, hot water and thermal oil boiler plant and digital combustion control
- Full UK Driving Licence
- £55,000 - £60,000 basic salary depending on experience
- Company van and fuel card
