We are recruiting for an experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor to join a market-leading Building Services Provider on a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. This is a highly regarded position, offering long-term stability, excellent training opportunities, and genuine internal progression. This is a single-site role, where you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance of the building, delivering both planned and reactive works. Working Monday to Friday (8am–5pm), you will operate autonomously while maintaining close communication with the client and managing specialist subcontractors as required.

The successful candidate will be fully qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with a strong background in commercial building services maintenance and the confidence to manage a site independently.

  • Water Treatment (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc.)
  • BMS operation
  • Managing site documentation, logbooks, audits, and site folders
  • Coordinating and supervising contractors
  • Maintaining strong client relationships
Requirements
  • Fully qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
  • Apprenticeship trained (desirable)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Building Services Maintenance
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working independently on a single-man site
  • Experience with site folders, e-logbooks, and compliance documentation
  • Auditing experience (beneficial)
