An exciting opportunity for an Electrical bias Engineer to join the UK’s leading building services providers on a prestigious contract in the City of London. This position will provide a Shift Lead Engineer to be part of a large team of technical engineers on a critical site. The Shift Leader will be expected to work on a continental shift pattern working days and nights. The Electrical bias Engineer will need to have lead experience as well as also having a solid career history within the Building services sector. Duties:

  • Completing logbooks and RAMS Reports
  • Attending client meetings
  • Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works
  • Permits to work
  • Raise and close jobs on PDAs as necessary
  • Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods
  • Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements
  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations
  • Carry out and manage planned preventative maintenance across HV and LV systems, UPS, Generators, associated plant and equipment, HVAC cooling/heating systems covering CRAC units
  • Monitor BMS and other systems for running and alarm conditions

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Electrical Installations Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent qualification
  • Hold HVAP or be willing to be put through the training
  • Critical site experience preferable (Data Centre or Banking Sites)
  • Client Management
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Building Services Maintenance experience
