An exciting opportunity for an Electrical bias Engineer to join the UKβs leading building services providers on a prestigious contract in the City of London. This position will provide a Shift Lead Engineer to be part of a large team of technical engineers on a critical site. The Shift Leader will be expected to work on a continental shift pattern working days and nights. The Electrical bias Engineer will need to have lead experience as well as also having a solid career history within the Building services sector. Duties:
- Completing logbooks and RAMS Reports
- Attending client meetings
- Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works
- Permits to work
- Raise and close jobs on PDAs as necessary
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements
- Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations
- Carry out and manage planned preventative maintenance across HV and LV systems, UPS, Generators, associated plant and equipment, HVAC cooling/heating systems covering CRAC units
- Monitor BMS and other systems for running and alarm conditions
Requirements:
- City & Guilds Electrical Installations Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent qualification
- Hold HVAP or be willing to be put through the training
- Critical site experience preferable (Data Centre or Banking Sites)
- Client Management
- Ability to manage a team
- Building Services Maintenance experience
