We're recruiting for a Shift Lead to join our client based in Liverpool Street, to work within a state of the art, commercial property as part of a well experienced M&E maintenance team. This is a great role if you're looking for valuable experience, receive on-going training and exposure to a high end site.

As a Shift Lead, you will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on M&E systems, allocate works, lead a team, update site logbooks, respond to client needs and ensure they are satisfied with the service provided.

As a Shift Lead, you must be fully qualified in Electrical Engineering / Installations (C&G/EAL/NVQ or equivalent), have at least 5 years experience working within commercial maintenance, and possess a good understanding of commercial M&E systems. This is a shift role, following a continental shift pattern, days and night shift.

Shift Lead Duties:
  • PPMs & Reactive maintenance
  • Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
  • Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
  • Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
  • Organising subcontractors
  • Completing logbooks and RAMS Reports
  • Conducting client meetings
  • Ensuring the account manager is kept up to date on a regular basis
  • Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
  • Permits to work
  • Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
Shift Lead Requirements:
  • City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations / Engineering
  • Building Services Maintenance experience
  • Career driven and motivated
  • Polite and personable
Salary and Package:
  • £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
