An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Shift Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a prestigious contract by London Bridge, London. The Shift Engineer will be part of a continental shift team working within a commercial property with critical floors. The contract also includes a Day Maintenance Team, Engineering Manager and Area General Manager who are all based on site.

This is a highly rewarding position with all the opportunities to progress within the company, this is an employer who invests heavily in their staff and always prefers to promote from within.

Duties:
  • Carry out and manage planned preventative maintenance across Electrical and Mechanical Systems, Three Phase Power, UPS, Generators, Switch rooms, associated plant and equipment, HVAC, Boilers, Pumps, General Mechanical duties.
  • Monitor BMS and other systems for running and alarm conditions.
  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
  • Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Completing logbooks and RAMS Reports.
  • Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
  • Permits to work.
  • Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
  • Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds in either Electrical Installations Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent qualification / Mechanical Engineering / Air Conditioning or any industry comparable qualification.
  • Client Management Building Services Maintenance experience.
Package:
  • £50,000 - £53,000 basic.
  • 20 Shift Days Holiday.
