We've got a brilliant role for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our client on a fantastic commercial property based in Liverpool Street! The successful candidate for this role will also be provided High Voltage training and given Authorised Person status (HVAP). This is a great role if you're looking to further expand your lead experience for a highly reputable company.

As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you oversee a small team of M&E engineers, carry out PPM and reactive maintenance, troubleshoot/diagnose faults, provide technical support, update site logbooks, oversee RAMs/Permits and ensure all compliance duties are carried out. This role will follow a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (07:00 - 19:00).

Lead Electrical Engineer Duties:
  • Oversee day-to-day engineering operations on site
  • Lead and support a team of maintenance engineers
  • Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance
  • Single & Three Phase Power
  • UPS Systems
  • Generators (on/off load tests)
  • LV switching & shutdowns
  • Emergency lighting & fire alarms
  • AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, pumps, motors, belts & bearings
  • Ensure safe isolation of plant and systems in line with procedures
  • Manage subcontractors on site
  • Ensure all works are completed to compliance and safety standards
  • Produce reports, complete logbooks and RAMS
  • Issue and manage permits to work
  • Liaise with client representatives and stakeholders
  • Use PDA systems to raise and close jobs
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Strong electrical bias with good all-round building services knowledge
  • Proven experience leading or supervising an engineering team
  • Background in commercial building maintenance
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Career-driven and proactive approach
Salary and Package:
  • £52,000 per annum
  • 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (07:00 - 19:00)
  • High Voltage Training + AP Status
  • 20 days annual leave
