Your role involves carrying out a broad variety of duties essential to delivering first-class plumbing services across residential and commercial premises. You will be expected to work both autonomously and alongside colleagues to complete installations, servicing, and repair work accurately and efficiently.

Duties:

  • Perform high-standard plumbing installations, maintenance, and repair work within domestic and commercial properties, either independently or as part of a team.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out corrective repairs on plumbing and mechanical systems, including associated equipment and appliances.
  • Undertake minor tasks across other trades where necessary to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Complete first and second fix plumbing work to a professional standard.
  • Carry out system testing and commissioning to ensure full operational performance.
  • Maintain an ongoing approach to risk assessment relevant to your duties and working environment.
  • Accurately document labour, materials, and job details using both digital platforms and manual paperwork systems.
  • Participate in the emergency call-out rota as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of City & Guilds Plumbing & Heating Level 2.
  • Commercial experience is a must.
  • A strong proven engineering background within the combustion / boiler industry maintenance.
  • Field based service engineer experience.
  • Working to health and safety requirements.
  • Previous experience with a range of boiler and burner manufacturers.
  • Knowledge of steam, hot water and thermal oil boiler plant and digital combustion control.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Salary and Benefits:

  • £50,000 - £55,000 basic salary depending on experience.
  • Company van and fuel card - Personal use included.
