We're currently recruiting for a Hard FM Project & Lifecycle Manager to join a well-established facilities management provider on a static healthcare site. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware engineer or manager to step into a key role overseeing projects, lifecycle works, and engineering operations.
Based full-time on site, you'll lead Hard FM engineering operations while managing projects, variations, and lifecycle activities within a healthcare PFI environment.
Key duties include:
- Managing lifecycle works, small projects, and variations from quote through to completion
- Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance activities across the site
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, HTM/HBN standards, and permit systems
- Supervising engineers and subcontractors, ensuring quality and performance
- Managing budgets, forecasting costs, and ensuring financial control of works
- Acting as the main technical point of contact for stakeholders
- Maintaining CAFM systems, documentation, and asset records
- Supporting lifecycle planning, reporting, and long-term asset strategy
Requirements
To be considered, candidates must have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience within building services / Hard FM
- Mechanical or Electrical background with relevant qualifications
- Strong knowledge of commercial M&E systems
- Experience managing subcontractors and project delivery
- Familiarity with CAFM systems and Permit-to-Work processes
- A proactive, solutions-focused and commercially aware mindset
Desirable:
- Experience within healthcare, PFI or PPP environments
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
- Knowledge of HTM/HBN standards
- Previous Authorised Person experience
- Understanding of CDM regulations
Package
- Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00
