Overview

Air Conditioning Engineer • M4 & M5 Corridor • Up to £50,000 + Benefits. A leading building services provider is looking for an HVAC Engineer to join their maintenance team on a prestigious contract looking after commercial buildings in the M4 & M5 Corridor region. Working as an AC engineer you\’ll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of the landlord plant, ensuring the site\’s HVAC and mechanical systems operate efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) & Reactive Maintenance
• Servicing and fault-finding on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, boilers, and ventilation systems
• Water treatment tasks, including dosing, temperature checks, and cooling tower maintenance
• Monitoring and operating the BMS to optimise building performance
• Working on pressurisation units, chilled water systems, and AC units
• Supporting critical HVAC systems in temperature-sensitive scientific research labs
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and building standards
• Assisting with refurbishment and upgrade projects to improve system efficiency

Requirements

• Recognised mechanical or HVAC qualification (Heating & Ventilation preferred)
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in a building services maintenance environment
