Requirements
The Role
- You’ll report to Group Senior Management and take full ownership of the Tarbolton service department; its people, its output and its profitability.
- It’s hands‑on. You’ll be close to the technical work, not just the spreadsheets.
- Manage day-to-day workshop and field service operations.
- Plan and prioritise workloads across the engineering team.
- Drive workshop efficiency, quality and profitability.
- Support technical decisions and oversee standards of workmanship.
- Handle warranty claims and liaise with the warranty department.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues across Hamilton Ross Group.
- Spot opportunities to improve and act on them.
What You’ll Bring

- Proven management experience in agricultural, groundcare, construction or plant machinery.
- Strong technical knowledge of agricultural machinery repair and maintenance.
- A track record of leading and developing a skilled team.

- Good IT skills and a practical approach to problem‑solving.
