Hamilton Ross Group are leading suppliers of Agricultural, Groundcare and Construction machinery across Central Scotland. We are seeking a professional and safety-focused Class 2 HGV Driver to support the delivery and collection of agricultural machinery and equipment from our Lanark depot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery and collection of agricultural machinery and equipment, including tractors, implements and attachments, to and from customer farms, depots and sites.
  • Safe loading, securing and unloading of machinery in line with Driver CPC requirements, DVSA load security guidance and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Use of chains, straps and restraints suitable for agricultural machinery haulage.
  • Conducting and recording daily walkaround vehicle and trailer checks, defect reporting and documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with drivers’ hours regulations, tachograph rules and the Working Time Directive.
  • Accurate completion of all delivery and collection paperwork and transport documentation.
  • Liaising professionally with customers, stakeholders and depot staff during deliveries and collections.
  • Representing the company positively at customer premises, including rural sites.
  • Maintaining vehicles, trailers and equipment in a clean, roadworthy and compliant condition.
  • Working safely on farms and agricultural sites, adhering to site-specific health and safety regulations.
