As our business continues to grow, we are looking for experienced and motivated Agricultural Service Engineers to join our workshop teams across our Tarbolton, Lanark, Cupar, Berwick, Macmerry and Kelso depots. As an Agricultural Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery, ensuring customers receive the highest standards of technical support and service. Working within a busy workshop environment, you will diagnose faults, carry out repairs and prepare machinery to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities- Service, maintain and repair agricultural machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Use manufacturer diagnostic software and specialist tools
- Complete machinery inspections and condition reports
- Prepare new and used machinery for customer delivery
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Support colleagues and contribute to a productive workshop environment
We are seeking engineers with:
- Previous experience in agricultural engineering, plant, construction equipment, HGV, commercial vehicle or similar sectors
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills
- The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- A full UK driving licence
