We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Director of IT to lead our technology strategy, infrastructure and IT operations.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the organisation’s technology supports business growth, operational excellence and exceptional client delivery.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across all aspects of IT, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, systems architecture, digital transformation and service delivery.
They will lead and develop the IT function, build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure technology remains aligned with business objectives.

- Oversee the delivery, security and continuous improvement of the organisation’s IT infrastructure, systems and services.

- Manage IT governance, cybersecurity, risk and compliance, ensuring robust controls and business continuity.

What We're Looking For
- Significant senior leadership experience within an IT or technology function.
- Proven experience developing and delivering IT strategies.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies and cybersecurity.
- Experience leading digital transformation and technology change.
- Experience managing IT budgets, vendors and technical teams.
- Strong commercial awareness, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborative, results-driven and committed to continuous improvement.
- Experience within workplace technology, managed services, engineering or a project-based environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure, hybrid environments and enterprise architecture.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, ITIL or other recognised IT governance and service management frameworks.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, TOGAF, Microsoft Azure or equivalent.
