Due to continued growth, we are seeking an AV Technician to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic and ambitious business where you will receive hands‑on training, mentorship and support from experienced Hamilton Robson technicians.

Working primarily from a client site in Central London, you will gain exposure to a wide range of audiovisual and workplace technologies while developing both your technical and customer‑facing skills.

As part of your development, you will initially shadow experienced team members before progressing into an independent support role.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Provide day-to-day support for audiovisual and workplace technology systems.
  • Support meeting rooms, video conferencing platforms and live events.
  • Troubleshoot AV issues and respond to support requests.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic break‑fix activities.
  • Ensure AV equipment is operating effectively and reliably.
  • Build positive relationships with on‑site customers and end users.
  • Maintain accurate records of support activities and equipment.
  • Work alongside senior technicians to develop technical skills and experience.
  • Travel to client sites across EMEA when required.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience working for corporate environment.
  • Understanding of AV systems and video conferencing technologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability.
  • IT literate with knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the AV and workplace technology industry.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
  • Familiarity with Q‑SYS, Dante, Crestron, Polycom, Shure and Logitech technologies.
  • Experience supporting meeting room and collaboration technology environments.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of live streaming technologies.
  • AVIXA Qualifications.
