Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the warehouse team responsible for receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch.
- Schedule and coordinate staff rotas to align with workload demands.
- Coach and develop warehouse team members to meet performance expectations and improve engagement.
- Ensure outbound orders are picked accurately and on time to meet workshop processing deadlines.
- Oversee the booking-in and bin-locating of returning equipment and ensure timely return to stock.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and compliance with health and safety policies.
- Maintain high standards of stock accuracy through perpetual and annual stock takes.
- Ensure stock security and oversee safe handling of equipment and warehouse plant.
- Develop and implement process improvements to maximise warehouse efficiency.
- Ensure daily checks are completed for all warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, lifting aids).
- Support compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001 standards.
- Coordinate with the Stock Auditor to ensure timely completion of audit tasks and accuracy of records.
- Ensure maintenance tasks (site-related or equipment) are completed through the Maintenance Team.
- Generate and publish warehouse KPIs and operational reports to senior management.
- Work collaboratively with other department leads to align procedures and resolve operational issues.
Competence Requirements
Knowledge & Experience
- Experience managing warehouse operations within a technical or rental environment.
- Familiarity with IT/AV products and their logistical handling.
- Experience with rental systems or warehouse management systems (e.g. RMS).
- Strong understanding of ISO standards, especially 9001, 14001, 45001, and 27001.

- High attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive processes.

Performance Measures
- Warehouse KPI reports completed and shared monthly.
- Annual stock take completed to ≥99.9% accuracy.
- Order pick rate accuracy >98%.
- All returning goods processed within 24 hours of arrival.
- ISO audit findings (if any) actioned within required timelines.
Authorities
- Authority to make process changes to improve warehouse performance.
- Manage and schedule warehouse and maintenance staff.
- Approve inventory adjustments and escalate major stock discrepancies.

- Internal: Operations Director, Engineering Manager, Sales, Stock Auditor, Maintenance Team
- External: Couriers, Suppliers, Site Visitors
ISO System Support Responsibilities
- Uphold ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 27001 requirements in all warehouse procedures.
- Ensure safe working practices are implemented and reviewed.
- Lead internal audits, investigations, and improvement actions.
- Contribute to document control, risk assessments, and training compliance.
