We are currently recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team of a prestigious boutique hotel in Surrey, offering a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a truly luxury environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Chef de Partie from a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant or high-end hospitality background who is ready to take the next step into a Junior Sous Chef position.
The Role:
- Working closely with the senior kitchen team, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, maintaining exceptional standards across food preparation, presentation and service.
- Support the Sous Chef and senior kitchen team during service.
- Help lead and motivate the kitchen team.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes to luxury standards.
- Maintain excellent standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Assist with the smooth running of the kitchen during busy services.
- Support junior chefs and help with their development.
- Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen organisation.
- Gain valuable experience within a prestigious luxury hotel environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie within a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant or high-end hospitality environment.
- Junior Sous Chef experience would be advantageous, but strong Senior CDPs looking for their first step up are very welcome.
- Passion for quality food and excellent presentation.
- Strong work ethic and a genuine desire to develop.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy services.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and progress.
