Role Overview: As a Staff/Prep Chef, you will be a key part of the culinary team, ensuring ingredients are prepared to specification, assisting with daily mise en place, and supporting senior chefs during busy service periods. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for professional kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients as directed by the Head Chef or Sous Chef (chopping, peeling, portioning, etc.)
- Assist in setting up kitchen stations before service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Support the wider kitchen team with general duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred (not essential)
