We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join the team at a dynamic, Michelin Guide-listed restaurant in the heart of the City of London. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a kitchen known for its exceptional standards, seasonal menus, and focus on grill and wood fire cooking.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to lead a talented brigade, ensuring the consistent delivery of bold, flavour-driven dishes that celebrate open-fire techniques and quality produce.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the grill and wood-fired cooking section
- Support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Train, develop, and inspire junior team members
- Contribute to menu development and daily specials
- Ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end or Michelin Guide-recommended restaurant
- Strong skills and passion for grill and wood fire cooking
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Calm, organised, and committed to high standards under pressure
- Availability to work Tuesday-Saturday (Sunday and Monday off)
