Exec Head Chef, WC1 London, £55k 5/7 days\\n\\nWe are currently recruiting for a passionate, motivated and talented Exec Head Chef to join our clients' team at this prestigious site in Central London.\\n\\nThe catering department provides all aspect of catering and hospitality for three different areas including conference and events, fine dining as well as internal feeding with a breakfast, lunch and dinner service.\\n\\nWhat you will be doing:\\n* working alongside the GM and managing a large team \\n* creating a variety of menus for all areas of the business and ensuring minimal food waste \\n* managing requirements for numerous events and fine dining functions (canapés, formal dinners, 3 course meals etc) as well as producing volume for every day catering\\n* ensure constant development in your team, mentoring and inspiring \\n\\nThis is a 7day operation so working hours are 5 over 7, 40 hours\\n\\nBenefits include:\\n* 28 days holiday incl Bank Holidays – plus your birthday off\\n* 3 volunteering days\\n* 3 days grandparent leave.\\n* 24 week's enhanced maternity leave\\n* Secondary carer leave\\n* Wedding/commitment day leave\\n* Pension and life insurance. \\n\\nWhat we are looking for:\\n* Proven experience as a Head Chef with a strong stable work background\\n* Ideally have worked within contract catering and hotels \\n* Ability to cater for volume on a daily basis as well as produce fine dining/extensive hospitality\\n* Passion for food, service and what you do!\\n* A strong leader – able to lead, manage and motivate a team whilst working as a team player\\n* Innovative and creative with menus ensuring minimum food wastage \\n* Excellent financial acumen\\n* An eye for detail and presentation\\n* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and remain calm\\n* Strong communication skills – able to liaise well with colleagues as well as clients\\n\\nInterested and have the passion, drive and experience we need?
