The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a prestigious events and conference venue in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Chef de Partie with a strong hotel and banqueting background who is looking to join a professional and well-established operation.
The role is predominantly Monday to Friday, providing a good work-life balance, although flexibility is required as the venue hosts some weekend events throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, cooking and presenting food to a consistently high standard.
- Working across different sections of the kitchen as required.
- Supporting the delivery of conferences, events and banqueting functions.
- Ensuring all mise en place is completed to a high standard and on time.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards.
- Working efficiently during busy services and large-scale events.
- Supporting the Sous Chef and wider kitchen team.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional working environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a hotel, events or banqueting environment.
- Strong hotel and banqueting experience is essential.
- Experience working in high-volume event and conference catering.
- Good knowledge of professional kitchen procedures and food safety.
- Able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
- Reliable, organised and a strong team player.
- Flexible to work occasional weekend events when required.
- Passionate about producing consistently high-quality food.
