Brake press Operator/Setter

We are currently recruiting for a Press Brake Operator who will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and production process by operating and maintaining press brake machines.

You are responsible for bending and shaping metal plates and sheets according to specifications and blueprints. Press Brake Operators ensure that the finished products meet quality standards and adhere to customer requirements.

Press Brake Operator Responsibilities
Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal plates and sheets.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine the required specifications for each job.
Select the appropriate tooling, dies, and machinery settings for each bending operation.
Position metal plates and sheets onto the press brake machine and accurately align them according to the specified measurements.
Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and depth to ensure precise bending and shaping of the metal.
Monitor the operation of the press brake machine, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications, dimensions, and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent malfunctions.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or notify the maintenance department for repairs.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
