What We Do As a recognized leader in providing Private Markets Solutions to clients across the globe, we manage approximately $140.9 billion in discretionary assets and have oversight of an additional $845.3 in non-discretionary assets as of June 30, 2025.
The Opportunity
As an Analyst/Associate on our Client Solutions team, you will assist in providing support to Hamilton Lane’s clients and support business development aspects related to the management of our French and/or Spanish prospect relationships, supporting senior salespeople based in London.
Your Responsibilities Will Be To
- Act as internal support for various sales and client related activities including:
- Maintaining sales activities and new business pipeline in the CRM
- Managing the coordination efforts for presentations and meetings with prospects and clients, including follow up data
- Assisting in the creation of presentation materials
- Attend and document virtual and in person prospect and client meetings and onsites
- Help organise investment road shows and events in conjunction with client solutions and events teams
- Monitor periodicals to identify published searches for new business opportunities
- Assist the RFP team in reviewing, editing, and submitting of RFPs
- Work directly with other representatives throughout the firm to ensure superior level of client service
- Collect and analyze data related to prospective client proposals and report trends and findings to senior management. This includes but is not limited to: Activity, Sales Reporting, Pipeline Management, Pricing, Marketing, Fundraising Updates
- Collect and analyze intel on competitors and create deliverables to the business development and product managers
- Other sales-related projects as necessary
Must-haves
Your background will include:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Fluent in French and/or Spanish besides English
- 2-5 years’ postgraduate experience in financial services
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Private Markets and/or Private Wealth Management a plus (but not essential)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English and second language (i.e. French or Spanish)
- Good understanding of capital structures, different financial instruments and basic portfolio construction preferable
- Strong quantitative/analytical skills (data analysis, numerical skills, problem solving etc.)
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs essential (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Exceptional organization, detail orientation, and an ability to multi-task, and work across time zones
- Desire to work as part of a team with a strong focus on client needs
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Resourcefulness; Entrepreneurial and competitive disposition
Travel Requirements
- Up to 20% domestic/international
