We're looking for a Senior Programme Manager based in London. The Senior Programme Manager will lead complex, multi‑workstream programmes across the London Insurance Market, delivering strategic change spanning across Hamilton Global Specialty. They will ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with market standards.
What you will do:
- Lead end‑to‑end programme delivery across multiple business domains (e.g., underwriting, claims, finance, operations, technology).
- Develop programme structure, governance frameworks, RAID management, reporting dashboards, and resource plans.
- Ensure alignment with corporate strategy, operating model, and London Market initiatives (Blueprint Two, ACORD standards, LIMOSS services, etc.).
- Support interface between executive leadership, market participants, IT teams, and operational functions.
- Support steering committees, executive updates, and cross‑market collaboration.
- Manage expectations across underwriting teams, claims leaders, operations, reserving/actuarial, finance, and Lloyd’s/MGA partners.
- Maintain RAID logs, mitigation plans, and quality assurance.
- Manage dependencies across projects, ensuring alignment with business change cycles (renewal season, bordereaux cycles, audit windows, etc.).
- Support programme budgeting, forecasting, commercial management, and reporting.
- Track financial performance against KPIs and ensure value delivery.
- Support business change activities, including TOM design, process mapping, training, UAT, and transition planning.
- Enable adoption of technology solutions (e.g., policy admin systems, claims platforms, bordereaux tools, data transformation, reporting solutions).
- Ensure cultural alignment and capability uplift within business teams.
What you require for the role:
- Deep understanding of insurance operations: underwriting, claims, delegated authority, finance, compliance.
- Strong knowledge of London Market technologies and processes (e.g., PPL, DCOM/Blueprint Two, Workbench, DXC services, ACORD messaging).
- Demonstrated experience leading multi‑million‑pound programmes with complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Proven track record in organisational and technology transformation.
- Expertise in governance, RAID management, planning, and structured delivery methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, Agile).
- Excellent communication and influencing skills at executive level.
