We’re working with a fast-growing, multi-brand ecommerce retail group to recruit a Senior Ecommerce Trading Specialist into a newly created and highly visible commercial trading role, operating within a complex, high-volume online retail environment. The business manages a substantial product catalogue, significant digital trading activity and multiple consumer-facing ecommerce brands across the UK and international markets.
This is a hands-on commercial trading role sitting at the centre of daily ecommerce performance, working closely with senior leadership and key operational stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, Buying and Ecommerce. The opportunity would suit someone who thrives inside a fast-paced online trading environment and enjoys turning large volumes of ecommerce and performance data into commercially intelligent action.
The Role
This position will play a central role in driving ecommerce trading performance across multiple websites and product categories, balancing revenue growth, conversion, margin and overall trading efficiency. Key responsibilities are likely to include:
- Monitoring and interpreting daily ecommerce trading performance across brands, categories and channels, analysing conversion, revenue, margin, AOV, ROAS and customer behaviour trends
- Identifying trading opportunities, risks and performance anomalies in real time
- Working with Performance Marketing to align trading activity with paid media performance
- Supporting pricing, promotional and merchandising decisions across multiple ecommerce sites
- Liaising with Buying & Stock teams around product movement, stock depth and inventory exposure
- Supporting onsite merchandising, category structure and conversion optimisation activity
- Contributing toward trading plans, promotional calendars and commercial performance reviews
- Producing meaningful reporting, analysis and actionable commercial insight
- Working across ecommerce platforms, reporting tools and the wider ecommerce tech stack daily
What We’re Looking For
