About the role
As a Care Assistant you will support residents in their day‑to‑day lives, providing personal care, social activities, and meal assistance to promote independence and maximise quality of life.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care.
- Help with mobility and transfers.
- Offer companionship and a friendly presence.
- Support mental and emotional well‑being.
- Observe and report changes in a client’s physical or emotional condition.
Qualifications & experience
- Ideally have an NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care.
- Minimum of one year’s experience in care (not essential).
- Excellent communication, listening and empathy skills.
- Genuine passion for elderly care and team development.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
