In this pivotal role, the Business Development Director will spearhead our client’s expansion within the Aerospace and Defence sectors, emphasising electronics manufacturing solutions. With a focus on high-reliability and safety-critical applications, the successful candidate will leverage extensive industry experience to drive strategic growth and increase market share in the southern UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Growth: Develop and execute a detailed growth strategy for the Aerospace and Defence electronics sectors, identifying new opportunities and optimising existing relationships.
  • Client Acquisition and Management: Target and secure high-value clients by demonstrating a deep understanding of electronics manufacturing needs specific to Aerospace and Defence. Manage a comprehensive client portfolio, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.
  • Technical Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the technical teams to understand and promote complex manufacturing capabilities, including PCB assembly, system integration, and full lifecycle management.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory changes. Utilise this information to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Required Qualifications:
