Join us as a voluntary board member and make a real difference to the lives of those in need. We are looking for people from diverse backgrounds and experience to get involved in leading our charity. This is an exciting time to join our board as we are currently writing our new strategy for the coming three years. As a Trustee, you will have the opportunity to shape the strategic direction and governance of the organisation. Your insights, expertise, and decision-making will directly influence the overall impact and effectiveness of our work. In return, you will have the chance to develop your skills in leadership and governance, strategic thinking, financial management and decision making.
Responsibilities
- Join the Board of Trustees and contribute to the governance and strategic direction of the organisation
- Attend quarterly board meetings and participate in working project groups and sub-committees
- Support the development and delivery of the charity’s long‑term strategy
- Act with independent judgement while engaging in collective decision‑making
