Trainee Quantity Surveyor Hamilton Bradshaw Group Construction Industry Salary: £25,000 – £70,000 DOE + Performance-Based Bonuses Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm, office-based Our client is a well-established commercial refurbishment contractor based in West London. Since 2012, they’ve earned a reputation for delivering high-quality internal and external refurbishment works. With a large percentage of repeat business and referrals, the business continues to grow its footprint in the construction industry. As part of their continued expansion, the business is now offering an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to kick-start their career in construction and gain hands-on experience in a thriving commercial environment. This role is based at Podium – Ealing Cross, a dynamic office space just 10 minutes from Ealing Broadway station. As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor , you’ll work alongside experienced surveyors and commercial leaders to develop practical knowledge across live construction projects. You’ll assist with day-to-day commercial operations and gain exposure to tendering, cost control, and project management processes. Perform take-offs from technical drawings and produce accurate quantity surveys Help evaluate supplier quotations and maintain commercial documentation Work closely with project, workshop, and site teams to ensure project data is current Support general project and tender administration You may be a recent graduate, someone with a construction trade background, or an individual looking to transition into a commercial role in construction. UK construction experience (essential) Strong interest in construction, ideally carpentry or joinery Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general IT systems Committed to an in-office learning environment Training & Development Your career development will be closely supported by senior Quantity Surveyors and the Commercial Director. The role includes structured on-the-job training, regular reviews, and access to formal training courses when needed. This is a long-term opportunity for someone ready to grow into a fully qualified Quantity Surveyor within a reputable and expanding company.
