About Us Hamilton Bradshaw is the family office of James Caan CBE, a familiar face from BBC’s Dragons’ Den. For more than 20 years, we have invested directly in over 33 businesses, typically taking majority stakes and guiding founders to scale across professional-services sectors including financial services, recruitment, real estate, and digital media. To date, we have achieved 19 exits and delivered above-market returns for both investors and founders. As we evolve our investment strategy, we are broadening our portfolio across:

  • Private Debt
  • Private Equity Funds
  • Hedge Funds
  • Venture Capital
  • Global Equities
  • Treasury Management
  • Real Estate Funds

We are transitioning from a purely direct-investment model to strategic co-investment and fund partnerships with exceptional managers worldwide.

The Role We are seeking a visionary Non-Executive Director to help shape the next chapter of Hamilton Bradshaw’s growth and diversification strategy. As a NED, you will:

  • Guide the firm’s diversification and governance framework.
  • Provide strategic insight in selecting and evaluating investment managers and funds.
  • Leverage your network to enhance deal flow and fund relationships.
  • Contribute to due diligence and risk-management processes.
  • Collaborate with a high-calibre team to drive sustainable value creation for investors and founders.

About You We are looking for a senior, well-connected professional who demonstrates:

  • Executive presence and outstanding communication skills.
  • Deep financial literacy, with strong knowledge of investment structures and fund strategies.
  • A proven network of advisers, allocators, and introducers generating high-quality opportunities.
  • A track record of rigorous due diligence and prudent risk assessment.

What We Offer The opportunity to join a prestigious, long-standing family office at a pivotal stage of growth. A collaborative environment alongside experienced investors and industry specialists. Competitive, market-aligned remuneration. A platform to shape a differentiated, long-term investment framework across global asset classes.
